Reliability of the Solution Key to Ensuring Always-On Services for Users

BigRedButton, the recently launched innovative personal safety support service has selected Intellicom to design and deliver the telephone communications solution which underpins the new service. The BigRedButton app, running on a smartphone, provides  an affordable service to users that enables them at the press of a button to immediately connect to a trained support team , should they be concerned for their safety or find themselves in a threatening situation. The users’ geographical location is immediately visible to the BigRedButton team who can, at the caller’s request, conference in one of their nominated contacts or if required, the 999 emergency services.

In a deal worth over €75K over three years, Intellicom is providing the hosted contact centre solution and advanced call routing to support the geographically distributed call centre agents and linkage into the emergency services in Ireland and the UK.
