In a recent report from Business and Finance Magazine, Intellicom CTO Cian Maher, was named as one of the top 100 CIOs in Ireland. Maher, who co-founded the company in 2005, leads the technical development and client solution implementation at Intellicom, which the magazine notes as a fast-growing telecommunications solutions and service provider.

In their review of Maher’s success and expertise as a CTO, Business and Finance Magazine note that he is a leader in Ireland in Asterisk, the world’s most widely used, core telephony software.

“It’s great to be listed alongside CIO and CTOs of the some of the largest and most-high profile organisations in Ireland by Business and Finance, said Cian Maher of Intellicom on his inclusion by the magazine. “Our area of excellence in the telephony and contact centre space, is fundamental to the running of many businesses in all sectors and of all shapes and sizes across the country. We are delighted that our success and investment in becoming a leader in this space has been recognised. I’m passionate about both the technical and operational aspects of this technology and have been a keen user and developer on Asterisk since its earliest days.”

Intellicom invests heavily in the development of new tools and applications to enhance the platform and services it provides to customers. An essential element of this investment is continued professional development and sharing of knowledge, which sees Maher and colleagues attending and presenting at leading conferences and user groups world-wide.

This recognition of the company’s CTO follows on from the announcement in March that Intellicom has been selected to participate in the National Enterprise Awards which take place on May 24th in the Mansion House. The company is the 2018 Offaly County Enterprise Award winner. Intellicom was also included in the Deloitte Fast 50, in November 2017, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland.
