Intellicom proud to play its part in supporting fight against Covid-19

We’re delighted to do our bit to support the effort to flatten the curve. We’ve completed several new and urgent projects in record time over the past two weeks, which involved the design and deployment of hosted telephony and contact centre systems, coupled with remote working setup and remote user training.

We’re all aware of how critical a simple phone call is at this point in our fight against Covid-19.

And at Intellicom we’re delighted to do our bit to support the effort to flatten the curve.

We’ve completed several new and urgent projects in record time over the past two weeks, which involved the design and deployment of hosted telephony and contact centre systems, coupled with remote working setup and remote user training.  All systems were deployed in association with end client support and without the need for on-site engineering work from the Intellicom team.

They include the significant expansion of dedicated helpline services for Covid-19, which are being delivered through ‘essential services’ offices and home working, a contact tracing service in the West of the country which will be expanded to 150 users this week, a multi-agent Covid-19 helpline in the Midlands for those over 70 who are currently ‘cocooning’ in their homes, and finally we’ve configured a home working system for the IT team in one of Dublin’s major hospitals, ensuring they can stay connected and work effectively from remote locations.

We’d like to publicly recognise the efforts of many of our customers and supply partners and, in particular, our own team in going above and beyond the call of duty to get these critical telephony services up and running in record time.  They worked tirelessly, around the clock to ensure the quickest possible deployment with full reporting and capability ‘out of the box’ for administration staff to manage the volume of calls.

We’d also like to acknowledge the patience and understanding of our other customers, who may have had to wait slightly longer for technical support while we grapple with the challenges of these and other projects and the many urgent change and system expansion requests to facilitate home working.

To everyone, thank you.

Stay safe, stay home.

From all the Intellicom team.
