Installation and Support Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring and training customers on Intellicom Telephony / Contact Centre & Data networking solution deployments both remotely and onsite and into a wide range of end customers from SME to Enterprise & International clients. As a result he/she should be presentable, have good Written & Verbal communication skills and have some experience working in a similar role.

The renumeration package will reflect the level of skill and experience the candidate possesses.

As this position requires travel around Ireland (and abroad on occasion) and some out of hours work, applicants must have access to a car with a full clean driving license and be able to facilitate flexible hours.

It is a requirement that applicants have the following skills and if progressed to the interview stages will be required to demonstrate them:

  • Understanding of the Fundamentals of Networking including:
    • IP Addressing / Subnets
    • DHCP
    • DNS
    • Firewall Rules
    • NAT Policies
  • Network cabling and hardware installation:
    • Practical skills including cable Patching & Termination
    • Mounting devices on walls and ceilings.
    • Working in Data Centres and Customer comms rooms.
    • Finding Cable runs for Network Cabling
  • Technical Skills:
    • Fundamentals of Operating Systems (Windows/Linux/Mac)
    • Ability to understand, install, configure and support a range of different custom desktop applications such as Email / IM.

It is desired that applicants have some of the following skills:

  • Linux server administration
  • Mysql administration
  • SIP & Other VoIP technologies

Linux Admin / Network Engineer

Dublin or Birr based position – Technical position for an experienced engineer who is highly competent with the day to day management of linux based server & storage infrastructure and LAN / WAN IP infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have:

  • A strong understanding of linux at a command line level
  • An understanding of networking and network concepts and protocols
  • Good working knowledge of MySQL & PHP
  • Understanding and experience with some scripting languages

The ideal candidate should have a full clean driving license and their own car, be willing to attend customer sites on a nationwide basis for new deployments and ongoing  support. Travel between our offices and data centres will be a regular occurrence (Dublin, Cork, Birr). Overseas travel will be required from time to time

Business Development / Account Manager

Intellicom Dublin or Birr based position (country wide remit) focusing on New customer development, Sales & Account Management of new and existing customers across all industry sectors.

The successful candidate will be involved with our full Telephony, Contact Centre & Data product & services portfolio.

Candidates would need to have experience in the Telecoms / ICT market in Ireland or Europe and demonstrate Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation skills, responsiveness and initiative. This is a Full Time position and renumeration and package will reflect the persons Skills and previous experience.

Telesales Executive

Intellicom Office (Dublin) based position focusing on New customer development, CRM database maintenance and Telesales to existing and new customer opportunities for our range of hosted telephony, audio conferencing, SIP Trunk / Voice Termination services and Carrier Pre-Selection services.

Candidates would ideally have some experience in the Telecoms market and/or telesales roles in other related industries and demonstrate Excellent telephone manner, responsiveness and initiative. An interest in IT and Technology would be a distinct advantage but full training will be provided. Full or Part time applications considered.

Software Developer

Dublin or Birr (preferable) based position – Technical position for an experienced developer who is highly competent and experienced with bespoke systems coding, front end systems design and systems support. The ideal candidate should have:

  • A strong understanding of linux at a command line level
  • An understanding of networking and network concepts
  • A Strong knowledge of MySQL & PHP and Coding languages
  • Understanding and experience (preferable) with HTML5 and WebRTC
  • Creative flair for front end design and usability of GUI
